According to an ancient urban myth, the mute swan has the ability to break a mans’ arm…this is always in the back of my mind as I get close to one…

This swan seemed fairly placid and unconcerned by my presence during an underwater grazing session, I just had to wait for the swan to come up for air. 😉

    I have only seen a wild Swan at a long distance. I think the Swans were Trumpeter Swans. Yes, I have seen some Swans closer up – but those were captives in zoo-like gardens and could not fly away. Your photograph is breath-taking! Have a wonderful day tomorrow!
