Departure Time
They’ve got to go….that’s just the way it is…when the autumn winds begins to blow they start gathering for that long and arduous journey back to Africa.
There were many swallows on the marsh…gathering in the trees and joyfully partaking in a communal twitter…it was obvious to me what they were up to…I’m just glad I got a chance to say goodbye this year. 😉

As the female swallow gazes out into the golden dawn, the male darts skillfully back in through the narrow bird-hide window carrying the next meal for their hungry offsping. 🙂
